'Most beautiful place we've ever been' - the Welsh town which left a pair of American YouTubers stunned

American YouTubers who visited Wales for half a day described it as "one of the most beautiful places we've ever been to", adding that "majestic doesn't do it justice." The popular husband and wife duo visited Llandudno as part of their tour of the UK.

The young couple, who go by the name MidWest Americans online, visited the 'Queen of Welsh resorts' as well as stopping off to visit Eryri (Snowdonia). The pair from Kansas in the United States travel all over the world, documenting their experience for their 50,000 subscribers, NorthWalesLive reports.

In the video below, the pair say: "We drove all the way from York, we walked the famous pier, walked on the beach and then discovered one of the most beautiful places we've ever been to in our whole lives....majestic doesn't do it justice."

The 18-minute video, which has been viewed nearly 140,000 times, begins with the pair enjoying a meal at the new McDonalds restaurant in Mostyn Champney's retail park. They then head to the pier and the nearby beach before checking into their hotel - The Winchmore Hotel, situated on the promenade near Venue Cymru.

In the video, the pair say: "We drove all the way from York, we walked the famous pier, walked on the beach and then discovered one of the most beautiful places we've ever been to in our whole lives....majestic doesn't do it justice."

The pair continue: "We knew we were going to Snowdonia (Eryri) the next day and this was the closest coastal town, pretty much. We spent about three or four hours on the drive around, we just enjoyed the moments.

"If anyone else is in Wales and happen to make it to Llandudno you should definitely do the drive. Even though we only spent a day and a half in Wales, it exceeded our expectations."
