Properties in Liverpool had an average price of almost £200,000 in the 12 months to October this year.
But houses sold for drastically different amounts across the city, with some going for nearly ten times the price, while others sold for only a fraction of that.
The most expensive is located in a hotspot for celebrities living in mega mansions that regularly sell for well over a million.

Meanwhile, the cheapest on the list sits on a street recently branded the cheapest in Liverpool.
Here are two each of the most and least expensive homes sold in Liverpool this year.
27 Victoria Road, Formby
This sprawling, six-bedroom house, with a whopping five reception rooms, smashed the competition out of the park with a final price tag of £1.87 million in January 2021.
Tucked behind a fence and a handful of tall trees down the Freshfield end of Formby's Victoria Road, this mansion outsizes many neighbouring houses on 'Millionaire's Row'.
A popular spot with the rich and famous, Victoria Road has at various points been home to celebs like Wayne and Coleen Rooney, Liverpool FC stars Jurgen Klopp and Steven Gerrard, and snooker player John Parrott.
The average value of houses on 'Millionaire's Row' is £1,171,013 in November 2021, according to Zoopla.
Number 27 would making a profit of over £100,000 by selling for around £2 million now, estimates Zoopla.
10 Larkhill Lane, Formby
Just down the road on the edge of Formby Beach forest, houses on Larkhill Lane sold for an average of over £800,000 in the last year.
Set back from the road, hidden behind a wooden fence and electric gates, this six bedroom detached house sold for £1,775,000 in April.
Its final price was one hundred grand down from the asking price when it was listed in September 2020.
Kitted out with a cinema room, games room and open plan kitchen-dining room, this mansion was described by Entwistle Green as having "ample entertaining and living space".
The house sold with planning permission for a swimming pool, and it "is practically designed to incorporate a lift and disabled access should any buyer need it".
73 August Road, Anfield
Tucked between Breckside Park and Newsham Park is a set of roads named after months of the year.
August Road in Anfield is Liverpool's cheapest street, and number 73 is one of the two cheapest houses in the city, selling for £30,000 in February this year.
The street off Breck Road has its fair share of problems, with residents complaining of rubbish left outside the terraced houses and rats roaming the bin alleys.
But they have the community spirit to band together and clean up their local area.
Number 73's prospects certainly haven't been harmed, with Zoopla predicting an almost 50% profit if the terraced house sold for its estimated price of £56,000 now.
Zoopla estimates the current average value of properties on August Road at over £69,000 this November.
Speaking of the street, one anonymous resident told the ECHO: "It's cheap and peaceful. You can't ask for more."
25 Sunlight Street, Anfield
A few hundred metres away from August Road is the joint cheapest property sold this year.
Within walking distance of a primary school and medical centre, this three-bed terraced house sold for £30,000 in January 2021.
It sits one road over from the large semi-detached houses circling the green, open expanse and fishing lake of Newsham Park.
Zoopla estimates the house would sell for £49,000 now, but the price has fluctuated over the years.
The sellers lost £10,000 in the last sale earlier this year, after originally buying it for £40,000 in December 2010, up from the £23,000 it sold for 19 years before.
