Customers have spoken of their shock and upset after legendary Glasgow baker Mortons Rolls reportedly ceased trading.
The announcement came on Saturday with Glaswegians "totally gutted" at the loss of the Drumchapel based firm.
The company was formed in 1965 when it began selling morning rolls, and later branched out into other baked goods.

GlasgowLive previously reported how the company's issues first began on Friday with the much-loved firm said to be closed with immediate effect. Its accounts are overdue by more than two months, with its annual results due to be filed in December last year.
Our devastated readers have shared their reactions and memories as they bid farewell to the bakery which holds a special place in their hearts.
Carolynn Huskie said: "I’m totally gutted for everyone involved in the bakery and broken at the thought of no more Morton’s Rolls."
John Barrie added: "I used to deliver these rolls when I was a kid. The van would drop boxes off at the house at 5am.
"They were still hot. I can still remember the wonderful smell. End of an era."
Ash Wallace wrote: "So sad for the staff. Absolutely devastating for them. There’s nothing like a Morton’s crispy roll."
Shaheen Mohammed said: "Very sad news, actually devastated. My parents use to buy them for our weekend breakfast when we where young 5p a roll. My teenagers loved them now nothing like them."
While Don MacKay wrote: "Morton rolls have been on the staple diet of Glaswegians for generations, iconic, and delicious. Devastated by this news."
Iain Maciver added: "Really sad news for the staff. Not sure of the circumstances but surely someone can step in to save jobs and continue a great product. Roll and sausage will never be the same again."
Max Worthington feels like 'a piece of Glasgow has just died'.
He said: "Growing up I assumed that rolls were like this everywhere. I was sadly mistaken. I have been all over the UK and most places just have awful dry crumbly soft baps. Morton’s Rolls are an absolute classic. Gutted."
David Leonard added: "Best rolls ever. Companies are being crippled by the energy costs. Where is it going to end. Something has to be done sooner rather than later."
Sandra Quadrelli wrote: "When my brother would be visiting from Australia he would make a beeline every morning to get his Morton's Rolls. So sad."
