Temperatures are set to soar in the UK this week as we welcome another heatwave. A level three heat health alert has been issued by the Met Office in some parts of the country with temperatures are expected to reach highs of 33°C.
There are certain things that we all want to keep us cool in hot weather, from ice cold drinks to cooling fans. But Morrisons shoppers now believe they've spotted a new item that they say is a necessity during the heatwave.
The supermarket is stocking a new packet of ice lollies - and many customers are desperate to pick up a box after spotting them on social media.
A picture of the packet was recently shared by blogger newfoodsuk on Facebook and Instagram, reports Liverpool Echo.
The Jurassic World Ice Cream Lollies are dinosaur shaped and come in vanilla and chocolate flavour. You can buy a six pack from Morrisons for £2 or two boxes for £3.50.
The lollies are being sold to coincide with the release of the Jurassic World Dominion film, which is in cinemas now. After seeing the product on social media, many people tagged friends whose children love the popular film franchise.
A picture of the ice lollies shared by newfoodsuk on Facebook racked up 875 comments, more than 400 reactions and over 140 shares.
Over on Instagram, Morrisons said the ice lollies were “perfect for Dino lovers with the heatwave looming!”
Shoppers were quick to share their excitement in the comments. Sarahxxlou25 said: “Omg omg”. Lucy_suter87 tagged a friend and said: “we need to get these!!”
J_alicee4 added: “I need desperately”. And Sue Armstrong added: “Oh I’ll have to go to Morrisons then”
