Morrisons is selling a giant pork loin steak for Father's Day that weighs nearly a kilo.
The supermarket has launched the pork-based take on the traditional Tomahawk steak in time for Father's Day on Sunday, June 19 and it is on sale in store now. Priced at around £7.52, or £8 per kilogram, the steak comes in two pieces and is edged with pork belly.
The giant British rib end pork steak is cheaper than the average price for a Tomahawk steak, which usually costs around £32 per kilogram.

Sean Gill, Head of Meat at Morrisons, says: “On a day that is all about celebrating the Father figure in your life, we wanted to offer a restaurant-quality dish that can be enjoyed by the family for a fraction of the price.”

The supermarket is also selling a limited edition Cheeseburger Pizza priced at £3.20, a Market Street Beef Topside priced at £5.99 per kilogram, two Flat Iron and Denver Steaks for £8, and a host of alcohol discounts including Woodsman Blended Scotch Whisky for £18, Bombay Sapphire London Gin for £27.50 and 99p ales.
The new items will be on sale at Morrisons until 19 June.
