Morrisons has just under 500 supermarkets in the UK so our round-up should be used as a rough estimate and you should always check your local supermarket's opening times before heading down.

You can use Morrisons' locator tool to find out where your nearest store is and what hours they will be open on Monday.

Just like other major chains, Morrisons has smaller convenience stores which are called Morrisons Daily.

In our research, these stores appear to open as normal on the May Day bank holiday.

The majority of the smaller sites will be open from 6am or 7am until 10pm or 11pm on Monday.

However, you should be aware that some Morrisons Daily stores are franchised so are run by a third party rather than Morrisons themselves.

If you have a Morrisons Daily close to you - then you should definitely check before heading down as franchised sites can set their own opening times and could differ from other Morrisons stores.

The franchised stores are highlighted on the Morrisons store locator.
