Morrisons has launched a massive toy sale event in-stores that will help parents pick-up some in-demand gifts for less just ahead of the Christmas shopping dash.
While it may only be October, the half-price event is perfect for anyone looking to grab some Christmas gifts while sticking to a budget this year. Available in 423 Morrisons stores now while stocks last, the supermarket is offering major discounts on some of this year's must-have items such as L.O.L Dolls and Hot Wheels.
The sale will only be available in stores, meaning that shoppers will not be able to find any of the discounted items online. Some toys up for grabs include Peppa Pig’s Wooden Playhouse down from £105 to £52.50 - a massive 50% saving on the RRP.
Little ones who are fashion fans can get the Shimmer ‘n Sparkle InstaGlam On The Glo Makeup Trolley for just £47.50 down from the original £95.00.
And you can pick up Hot Wheels Racing Set for just £32.50 instead of the original £65 - meaning another half-price saving for customers.
Customers can also pick up some major discounts across highly anticipated brands such as the Barbie Pet Supply Store or Radio Control car, both reduced to £26.50 from the original £40 asking price.
Meanwhile, fans of the childhood staple Play-Doh can grab a Colourful Cafe Playset for just £33, instead of the original £50.
With just three months to go until the big day arrives, Morrisons has said it hopes the mega toy-sale will help families spread the cost of Christmas this year.
David Catton, Toys Buyer at Morrisons, said: “We know that customers are under real financial pressure at the moment and want to help them when it comes to their Christmas shopping.
We’re reducing the price of our toys now to help customers spread the cost of the festive season and tick off some important jobs.”
And Morrisons are not the only supermarket offering major discounts ahead of Christmas, as Tesco have also launched a massive half-price toy sale event this week.
The UK's largest supermarket chain launched their sale on Monday, October 3, and prices starting as low as just £7.50 for Clubcard holders.
