Morrisons has upped its pigs in blankets game with a brand new sausage roll twist that has sent shoppers' taste-buds watering.
We are all a bit partial to both a flaky sausage roll and pigs in blankets, and now the geniuses at Morrisons have combined the two for a brand new bakery item.
That's right, the supermarket chain has been spotted selling packets of two Chunky Pig In Blanket Rolls in its bakery section for just £2 and shoppers on social media can't get enough of them.
It's not the first time the supermarket has launched a twist of the festive favourite, as they previously launched a 'Pig In Duvet' croissant last year for fans to tuck into.
Sold from its Market Street counter, the mouth-watering pastry is filled pork and bacon pieces that are encased in flaky and crumbly pastry.
It was spotted by a savvy shopper who shared a snap of it to the popular foodie Facebook group, Newfoodsuk, where many shoppers quickly proclaimed the snack as a "must."
"Is this a sausage roll with bacon!?! Like, bacon inside a sausage roll!?! Like, a sausage wrapped in bacon, wrapped in roll!?! I need this", exclaimed one shopper.
"These are lush, I tried them last week", praised a second.
"These taste sooooo AWESOME!!", raved a third.
"We need to find these and eat them", commented a fourth tagging their friend.
"Morrisons deliver the goods every time", said a fifth.
Morrisons Market Street Chunky Pig In Blanket Rolls cost £2 and come in packets of two. Check with your local store for stock availability.
