Supermarket shelves have been stripped of festive stock and are now stacked high with Easter treats.
Each year, the offerings seem to get more and more exciting with hidden surprises and extra freebies.
And Morrisons is set to launch some gorgeous new chocolate goodies - including a huge doughnut you wouldn’t believe.
Much of the range is £5 each, with colourful eggs, toffee flavoured jungle animals and other sweet treats to make this years egg hunt on April 17 more fun.

First there is a selection of ‘best Belgian chocolate’ Easter eggs, and I managed to get my hands on the dark chocolate, white chocolate and milk chocolate versions of it.
The 72% cocoa egg is marbled with white chocolate, which leaves a gorgeous effect on the product, while the white chocolate egg is studded with tangy freeze dried raspberry pieces, which is a real delight.
But it’s the milk chocolate egg that’s the real showstopper. Made with 43% cocoa, the egg is decorated with blue, red and white speckles, making it look very artisanal and expensive.
For little ones, Leo the Lion Cub is the cutest moulded chocolate treat made with toffee flavoured white and milk chocolate, with dark chocolate decorations on the eyes and nose.
The fur looks so intricate - he’s almost too realistic to eat!
Then there’s the doughnut, which to look at, looks like a huge baked good that would take me two sittings to eat.
And without reading the packaging, I was so confused when I lifted it out of the box and it was cold and hard.
It looks so genuinely like a doughnut, it really had me fooled - but it’s actually toffee flavoured chocolate like Leo the Lion Cub.
The chocolatey treat was nearly the size of my head, decorated with white chocolate ‘icing’ and topped with crunchy choco balls.
All of the Morrisons Easter goodies I sampled were really rich, smooth and didn’t taste like that cheap chocolate you often get in supermarkets at this time of year. They felt really luxurious and quite expensive, and while they are on the pricey side at £5 each, they’d definitely make a fabulous special treat.
The Easter eggs, lion and donut should be widely available in stores from February 21, giving you plenty of time to buy them in time for the big day.
The supermarket will also be launching a gold lustre Easter egg and and Easter egg hunt kit for kids.
But the other snack traditionally enjoyed around Easter is hot cross buns - and Morrisons will be stocking some unusual flavours, as well as the typical raisin ones.
Among the new releases are some lemon drizzle hot cross buns, as well as double chocolate, salted caramel, very berry and a free from range.
And at the bakery counter, shoppers will be able to pick up new spring items from mocha hot cross buns to mini egg Easter doughnuts.
