Morrisons is cutting prices on 150 of its most popular products to help customers during the cost of living crisis.
The savings include cupboard staples such as chopped tomatoes and baked beans, as well as everyday essentials like bread and toilet roll - with shoppers able to save 14% on average.
Customers will also save cash on fresh meat including chicken breasts and mince, as well as fruit and vegetables.
Freezer favourites such as fish fingers, chips and pizzas are included in the new price initiative as well. However, supermarket hoppers should still compare prices elsewhere.
For example, Morrisons has cut the price of 1kg of carrots from 55p to 45p - but you can currently get the same size bag of carrots for 29p from Aldi.

Meanwhile, an 800g loaf of white bread has been reduced from 85p to 79p at Morrisons - but Aldi sells an 800g loaf for 69p.

Morrisons says the lower prices cover nearly 6% of its total volume sales.
The supermarket has also added a dedicated ‘More Ways to Save’ section to its website, so customers can see the latest offers available across big brands.

“These price cuts are on the products they buy day in and day out and will have a noticeable impact on their budgets and demonstrate our commitment to offering the best possible value.”
