Motorists can get fuel help by doing their grocery shop at Morrisons. Customers who spend £40 in store are being given vouchers to get a discount on their petrol or diesel at the store service stations.
The supermarket will give 5p off per litre of fuel when shoppers reach the £40 threshold. The vouchers are being handed out up until Sunday, October 9.
These can then be used at any of Morrisons 339 petrol stations, excluding franchised Morrisons Daily petrol stations. Those with the vouchers will then have until Sunday, October 16 to use them.
The Manchester Evening News reports this means motorists with a 50l tank, can save up to £2.50 when they fill up. Those with a bigger 70l tank could save £3.50 at the pump.
Vouchers will be given to shoppers who spend £40 but there are exclusions to what can go towards the total. This includes fuel, tobacco, lottery tickets, Morrisons Cafe, gift vouchers and baby milk. The full terms and conditions can be found on the Morrisons’ website.
Rachel Eyre, Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at Morrisons, said: "Fuel prices are one of the biggest expenses people across the UK are facing as the cost of living increases. We want to help our customers save money wherever we can and hope this offer can help make budgets go a little further.”
In addition to the fuel deal, Morrisons has also reduced the prices on 150 of its most popular products to help make customers’ money go further. The supermarket has also added a dedicated ‘More Ways to Save’ section to its website, so customers can see the latest offers available across big brands.
