Investigations are continuing one week after what is thought to be human bones were found by workmen in a Northumberland town.
Forensics officers began searching a wooded area in Morpeth after the grim discovery was made last Thursday afternoon.
A police cordon was in place for several days as officers carried out investigations in the area, at Cottingwood Lane, which is close to King Edward VI School.

Northumbria Police has confirmed that the remains are believed to be human, but work is ongoing to establish how old they are and how they came to be there.
A spokesman said: “An investigation has been launched into the discovery.
“Anyone with any concerns is advised to speak to an officer on duty. Anyone with information can report to police."
