Motorists who have parked their cars in cycle lanes in Southport have been branded "morons" by people living nearby.
Southport's cycle scheme has been the subject of much controversy in recent months.
The scheme, introduced by Sefton Council, has been criticised by local Lib Dem and Conservative councillors, with some people saying they didn't think the lanes would be used much.

One man has posted photos showing cars parked in cycle lanes on Queens Road.
In his post, on a neighbourhood app, he said: "Safe travels? What's all this about?
"Are these cycle lanes or parking lanes?"
Another man, who wants to remain anonymous, told the ECHO : "My nan lives down Queens Road and I think it is horrendous the number of cars that have completely ignored the rules around the cycle lanes.
"It's not like they're not clearly marked, so I honestly don't know why you would park there... the most stupid of places. Morons.
"These lanes have been there for months."
Sefton Council says the scheme is aimed at encouraging people to cycle more.
A council spokesman said: "“These lanes were installed so our communities can have easier access to green and environmentally friendly transport.
“As we continue to tackle the climate change emergency, reducing our carbon emissions and making the roads safer for cyclists is a priority.
“Where possible we ask that motorists park considerately and take into account that obstructing cycle lanes can put riders and other road users at risk.”
