Morocco’s World Cup dream is over after they were beaten by France in the semi-finals.
The Atlas Lions, who are the first African team to reach the semi-finals of a World Cup, put in a good performance but went down 2-0.
France left-back Theo Hernandez scored the opening goal of the game in the fifth minute and Randal Kolo Muani sealed the win late on.
Morocco’s dream of winning the World Cup is now over and they will face Croatia in Saturday’s third-fourth play-off.
