Morocco manager Walid Regragui has urged Hakim Ziyech to leave Chelsea.
The forward starred at the World Cup as the Atlas Lions made history, becoming the first African side to reach the semi-finals.
Ziyech had only just returned to the fold at international level after a falling out with previous manager Vahid HalilhodžiÄ. Left out of the Morocco squad for the delayed 2021 African Cup of Nations played earlier this year, the 29-year-old even retired from international football.
While a key player for his country again, Ziyech has consistently struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge.
A £37m signing from Ajax in the summer of 2020, the former FC Twente youngster has started only one Premier League game this season and has previously attracted interest from AC Milan.
Chelsea will further strengthen their frontline with the summer of signing RB Leipzig and France forward Christopher Nkunku, while Molde teenager David Datro Fofana is also expected to join.
As a result, Regragui has told Ziyech to find a new club in order to guarantee first-team football.
“[Selim] Amallah and [Azzedine] Ounahi will surely find better clubs and the same for Ziyech, who has shown what he can do, he deserves to be a starter in Chelsea,” he told Viola News.
