Swansea City forward Morgan Whittaker reportedly 'wants' to join Rangers as Michael Beale continues to line up new recruits.
The 22-year-old striker, who spent some of the season on loan at Plymouth Argyle, is now a reported target of Rangers this month with an update from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano suggesting the Ibrox club have 'launched' a bid. The Light Blues are light in the striking department with Kemar Roofe's return to action blighted by injury and Antonio Colak still 'touch and go' in his recovery.
Whittaker, however, could be on the move to Glasgow as according to the Scottish Daily Express, the Englishman is keen to join Michael Beale's men but with reports from Wales claiming Rangers have seen an opening offer turned down.

The report goes on to say there is a 'gap in valuation' between the Gers and the English Championship side, with the former England under-20 cap notching up nine goals and seven assists this season. Whittaker is also said to be able to play across the attack as Beale looks to bolster his widemen and frontmen options.
Romano also states the youngster wants the deal to happen, as Rangers reportedly continue their hunt for Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell.
