Morgan Gibbs-White hopes Arsenal will no longer be in the Premier League title race when they face Nottingham Forest later this month.
The Reds' 4-3 win over Southampton on Monday has lifted them out of the bottom three with three games left. Steve Cooper's side travel to Chelsea next before hosting the Gunners on May 20 and then a trip to Crystal Palace on the final day.
Mikel Arteta's team are currently second in the table, having played a game more than leaders Manchester City as they chase a first league title since 2004.

But Gibbs-White hopes that Arsenal will have nothing to play for when their game at the City Ground comes around as he recognises how tough Forest's remaining matches are.
"It's tough when you look at our fixtures but we are together as a team," he told Sky Sports.
"We are going to go into the remaining games fighting and hopefully we can get something at Stamford Bridge. Hopefully, Arsenal's title chances have gone by the time we play them."
