Nottingham Forest fans have given their reaction after Morgan Gibbs-White made an impact for England U21s in the European Championships.
The Young Lions are in semi-final action as they take on Israel in a bid to reach the final of the competition. Gibbs-White has been a key player for Lee Carsley’s side, assisting three times so far throughout the tournament.
He provided the assist for Anthony Gordon’s vital goal in the 1-0 quarter-final win over Portugal on Sunday. And he has also made an impact in the semi-final.
He did have the chance to put England ahead when they were awarded a penalty after a VAR check in the 17th minute. But he missed the chance from the spot after stepping up.

He would soon make up for that though, as he rose to head the ball home to put England 1-0 up with just three minutes of the half remaining. Cole Palmer then doubled the nation’s lead in the 63rd minute.
But it was Gibbs-White’s goal that got Forest fans on social media talking. He was a key player for Steve Cooper ’s side last season, and supporters are looking forward to seeing him back in action in the new season.
