Morgan Gibbs-White contract details revealed ahead of Nottingham Forest transfer

Morgan Gibbs-White has signed a five-year contract with Nottingham Forest, it has been reported.

The 22-year-old midfielder arrives from Wolves on a deal that could be worth as much as £44.5million if all add-on clauses are met. The initial fee, paid up front, is £25m and comes after Forest had previous offers rejected.

Reds head coach Steve Cooper has finally got his man, chasing Gibbs-White all summer after managing him for both Swansea City and England under-17s. Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis took "personal charge" of the transfer and has now got the deal over the line.

Gibbs-White's contract details have now been revealed, with journalist Fabrizio Romano reporting that the Wolves man has committed his future to the City Ground until the summer of 2027. Gibbs-White's arrival is expected to be confirmed soon, meaning he will become Forest's 16th signing of the summer.

"Morgan Gibbs-White signs until 2027 with Nottingham Forest, five year deal completed," Romano tweeted. "Official announcement will be in the next hours."
