More drinkers will be choosing low and no alcohol this Christmas

Low- and no-alcohol drinks categories are expanding year-on-year with a growing number of people choosing to reduce their drinking. 26% of 16-24 year olds now report being fully teetotal, according to Drinkaware.

This festive season, Majestic predicts more revellers than ever will opt for Dry December choices - with sales of lower alcohol content wines up 31.74% with low and no alcohol beer up 144% year-on-year from the wine and beer powerhouse.

Typically coming in at slightly lower price points than traditionally higher-alcohol bottles, it means drinkers can also consciously budget better.
