More Cyberpunk 2077 fixes are in the works, according to CD Projekt Red dev

Cyberpunk 2077 will likely go down in history as an all-time terrible launch, but at least CD Projekt Red hasn’t given up on improving things.

Over the weekend, Cyberpunk 2077 quest director Pawel Sasko held a stream discussing the recent next-generation update, other touch-up patches, and the impending expansion. Fans then shared snippets from the talk on Reddit (Thanks, TheGamer).

“I, unfortunately, cannot tell you anything about our future plans. I can assure you that we are working [on an] expansion — we’re working [on] stuff for you guys besides that,” Sasko explains. “That didn’t change. We are still improving the game because we are all aware there is work to be done.”

“We’re very happy you guys liked [Patch 1.5], which gives us more motivation to work for you guys because you show your appreciation for it,” Sasko continues. “That’s as much as I can tell you. We are working on stuff for you. Like I’m literally daily reviewing quests, talking to people about stuff, so it is happening.”

There wasn’t much doubt that Cyberpunk 2077 would cease getting updates, but it’s good to know CD Projekt Red isn’t turning tail. Between the next Witcher and that single-player Gwent spinoff, the studio certainly has a lot going on right now.
