Another person has been charged in relation to the alleged abduction of a five-year-old girl in the Northern Territory.

Police arrested a 50-year-old woman on Thursday after searching a Darwin property, where an electronic device was discovered and seized.

She was later charged with threatening a police officer involved in the investigation into the disappearance of the girl last month.

The woman is also accused of attempting to pervert justice and was remanded in custody to appear in the NT Local Court in Darwin on Friday.

"Threats made against our officers as they go about their duty protecting and serving the community will not be tolerated," Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Jon Beer said.

The five-year-old was allegedly abducted on August 7 and was missing for nearly a fortnight before she was dropped off at a police station on August 19.

Five people have been charged with abducting the girl, including four women aged 35, 48, 50 and 67, as well as a 69-year-old man.
