Two more people have been charged in relation to the alleged abduction of a five-year-old girl in the Northern Territory.
NT police on Thursday said a woman, 67, and a man, 69, had been charged with one count of abduction of a child under 16.
They have been bailed to appear in Darwin Local Court on October 26.
Previously a 35-year-old woman and a 50-year-old woman faced court charged with abducting a child under 16 and attempting to abduct a child under 16.
The five-year-old girl, allegedly abducted from Berrimah on August 7, was dropped off at the Darwin Police Station last week.
At the time, Detective Superintendent Kirsten Engels said officers were still trying to build a full picture of what happened during the previous two weeks but were relishing the fact the young girl was safely home.
"The investigators have been working tirelessly on this for the past 13 days. I would suggest some of them have not had much sleep or thought about anything more than getting (the girl) home," Supt Engels told reporters in Alice Springs on Friday.
"Their focus will now move to investigating who was involved in this and holding them responsible for their actions."
In relation to the latest arrests, Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Jon Beer said investigations were ongoing to identify all the parties involved in the alleged abduction.
