Monterey Jack’s restaurant to open at XSite Braehead

Food fans heading to XSite Braehead later this month will be excited to learn they'll soon be able to enjoy a new Monterey Jack’s.

The popular restaurant chain will be serving up its American classics, including hot dogs, pizzas, desserts, and cocktails, as well as its gourmet burgers, which recently secured it ‘best burger’ at The Scottish Entertainment Awards, at the centre.

Housed within a ground floor unit, the new restaurant will have capacity for around 150 diners and will be open for all-day casual dining.

Rosalind Gibson, marketing manager at XSite Braehead, said: “We are delighted to welcome Monterey Jack’s to XSite Braehead. It is going to be a strong addition to our already stellar leisure and retail offering here at XSite and I have no doubt that our customers will love its American style food.”

The new Monterey Jack’s, which already operate ten sites across Scotland, will be managed and run by experienced Scottish restauranteur Dal Deol, who said: “I am delighted to be part of Monterey Jack’s new offering at XSite Braehead. It is an amazing leisure location and perfect for this type of bar and restaurant.

"The Monterey Jack’s brand is so on-trend and offers the perfect combination of fresh, handmade, award-winning food and drinks with great value, perfect for the family-orientated XSite Braehead.”

Mr Deol added that he expects around 30 new jobs to be created, and that Monterey Jack's "prides itself on speed of service" with the new restaurant will operate a walk-in service for parties of under six people, with bookings accepted for tables for six and above.
