How to download character codes in Monster Hunter Wilds

If you're creating a hunter for the first time, or if you're changing your appearance with a voucher, here's how you can download a character code:

When in character creation, select either the Hunter or Palico
Go to the tab labelled "Design"
Select "Download Design" from this menu
Paste your chosen character code and press enter

Your chosen character will appear over your hunter or Palico, and you'll want to click the Change Appearance button to save the design over your current look. You can also save the design for future use from this menu, but if you just want to take on a new look and go straight into the game you won't need to worry about that.
