Monmouth joins FCS teams to beat FBS teams in 2024

Monmouth picked up its first win over an FBS team on Saturday, defeating FIU, 45-42.

The Hawks had to pull off a great defensive play in the final minute to seal the victory.

Michael Calton’s 43-yard field goal was the winning margin.

Monmouth is 2-1 in the state of Florida with the win, a loss at FAU in 2023; win at Jacksonville in 2000.
