With Clare the only team already eliminated from the Sam Maguire Cup, Monaghan and Donegal in a battle to give themselves the best finishing position in Group Four.
Ulster champions Derry will be expected to defeat the Banner, but the Farney can still top the group after drawing with the Oak Leafers in Celtic Park.
Donegal defeated Clare in round one before losing out to Derry last time out, but the return to action of their skipper Paddy McBrearty was a huge boost for them.
Should Clare cause a huge upset against Derry, Donegal could still top the group with a win over Monaghan with the second and third team in each group out again next weekend in the All-Ireland SFC preliminary quarter-finals.
