Everton have 'identified' Monaco left-back Caio Henrique as a potential signing for the January transfer window to provide more competition in the position.
Vitaliy Mykolenko has remained relatively unchallenged at left-back this season for Everton. Meanwhile, Ruben Vinagre, signed on loan from Wolves, has barely featured.
Henrique, who has five assists and one goal in 10 Ligue 1 appearances for Monaco this season, is also attracting interest from Brighton and Nottingham Forest.

A deal for Henrique could prove difficult after he recently signed a new deal with Monaco, keeping him at the club until 2027. The Brazilian, could, however, be tempted by a move to the Premier League.
Lampard is reportedly looking to add competition for Mykolenko's spot in the side according to IG Esporte.
