Moment Strictly's Rose Ayling-Ellis 'pushes Giovanni off stage' during Live Tour in Leeds

Giovanni Pernice almost got the shock of his life during the Strictly Live Tour in Leeds last night when he had an unexpected nudge from professional partner Rose Ayling-Ellis.

The tour began in Birmingham on January 21, it's had a rocky start as a few key stars were forced to pull out due to coronavirus.

The tour consists of most of the 2021 series celebrities and professionals with them all travelling around the UK to perform.

Celebrity contestant Dan Walker is not participating in the tour, and celebrity AJ Odudu also had to pull out due to injury.

The tour is making 22 stops around the UK including several in Leeds and is the first one to feature a British Sign Language interpreter after Rose Ayling-Ellis's victory.

Leeds Strictly fans were delighted to see Rose win last night's tour competition again and loved seeing the relationship between the celeb and her professional dancer partner and the pair are back in action tonight (Wednesday).

But one onlooker was left giggling after a mishap on stage where it appeared that Rose had pushed her partner off the stage.

Struggling to regain his footing as they walked out onto stage, Giovanni seemed to take it all in good fun and sadly the fan shared clip doesn't show what happened next but it would seem Gio managed to keep his balance despite Rose's playful prodding.

The pair have clearly gained a close friendship winning the hearts of the nation as Rose, who is profoundly deaf, and Giovanni performed a silent routine on Strictly Come Dancing which won the hearts of millions of viewers across the country.

On the tour, the pair have also been a smash, having won seven out of seven nights and they're hoping to add tonight's Leeds show to their list of tour victories too.
