A Bradford dad who operates a private hire business was left shaken after a heated road rage exchange in Armley Road, Leeds.
The incident, which was captured on video and happened on Saturday (February 25), shows a man exiting his vehicle, a Grey Volkswagen, which had blocked the road for another driver. The man walks towards the other driver and launches a verbal tirade at him, at one point asking the other driver to get out of the vehicle and fight.
The other driver, who did not want to be named, locked his doors and continued recording the entire exchange. But, he says the entire ordeal left him shaken.

He said: "Tiguan driver tried to overtake and get into lane when he couldn't he beeped and I beeped back, which he didn’t like because he thinks only people in the biggest car have [the] right to beep. So he drove dangerously and cut me off, so I had to brake hard to avoid an accident.
"He then came out aggressively and abusing [me] like he owns the world. Asked me to come out from vehicle which I didn’t. I was alone in the car. No one else tried to help.
"I felt very scared when he first blocked my vehicle because he came out very aggressively and I had no idea who I was dealing with. He was approaching me in a very aggressive way and making threats at the same time, but as he approached luckily I turned on the camera so he calmed down a little bit."
The Bradford dad, who says he has reported the matter to the police, is urging other drivers in Leeds who find themselves in similar situations to stay calm and lock their doors. He said: "I will give advice to other drivers to stay calm and don’t leave their vehicle and lock the doors and try to record it as when you start recording the risk of getting physical assault lowers.
"And if things go out of control call 999 and try not to take the law into your own hands. I would also want people to report it to the police and share it on social media platforms as well to discourage this type of behaviour."
He hopes the man who confronted him sees the video and feels ashamed. He said: "If he sees the video I just want him to feel ashamed of his behaviour and want him to treat other road users with respect."
