A violent fist fight erupted between a group of men in front of shocked families over the weekend.
Screams could be heard as the men punched each other at a car park in East Beach, Shoeburyness, Essex.
Crowds began to form, including several children, as what appeared to be a stand-off turned into a mass brawl.
Police said they were called to the fight at roughly 8.30pm but have not yet located the suspect or alleged victim.
Footage of the incident went viral after racking up more than 50,000 views online.
In the video, two men confront each other as a third stands between them, trying to diffuse the situation.
Someone off camera can be heard saying: "What's going on, what's going on?"
They add: "They're all just walking, that's f***ed, that's bad".
The men involved in the fight are just steps away from the road, where a car slowly drives by as the situation escalates.
One of them, who is shirtless, squares up against the other man, wearing a black t-shirt, before throwing a punch.
He is held back by the third man, however, who was initially trying to separate the pair.
A fourth man then appears, hitting the man in the black t-shirt from behind and dragging him to the ground.
He then continues to punch the man's face, as the shirtless man runs over to join in.
Moments later, the man who was attacked is seen being helped by bystanders while a woman with a child approaches.
She appears visibly upset but it is not clear if she knows the victim.
The man remains on the ground as people rush over to help him.
The shirtless man is still at the scene and a female witness, who appears enraged, approaches him – before suddenly throwing a slap in his face.
He pushes her away, as other bystanders come over to help to create distance between the victim and his attacker.
Two ambulances were called to the scene but the alleged victim had left by the time they arrived.
The extent of his injuries are not known.
Essex Police confirmed today that no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
