A traffic warden has been caught on camera swearing at a driver in a row over parking on a busy city centre street.
The footage was taken on December 7 from a dash camera inside a car and shows the parking attendant shouting at the member of the public who was parked at St Andrew Square in the city centre.
A rammy with the parking attendant flared as the driver was wrongly parked - sparking an escalation in the row. The driver, Daniel, posted the video to Twitter and complained to the City of Edinburgh Council.

Council bosses confirmed to Edinburgh Live they are now investigating the matter with their parking contractors.
He posted: “So this lovely Edinburgh parking attendant think it’s acceptable to swear and abuse members of the public when they get in their vehicle. Yes, I was parked in an area I wasn’t meant to be parked in. When asked for a supervisor this is the reaction you get.”
In the video, Daniel can be heard saying: “radio your supervisor, pal.” To which you can hear the parking attendant reply by saying “F*** off.”
The conversation continues and by the end of the video, the parking attendant has told Daniel to “f*** off” three more times. Edinburgh Live spoke to Daniel who told us he was stunned by the incident.
He said: “I felt shocked and disgusted that the parking attendance would speak to a member of the public like that.
“I was parked in a taxi rank dropping someone off near to the building fire at St Andrew Square as I couldn’t get near the other side of St Andrew Square.”
Daniel added he was dropping off a friend off who was meeting his mates at Waverley train station.
Councillor Scott Arthur, Transport and Environment Convener, said: “This behaviour does not meet the standards expected of the city’s parking attendants. We have raised this incident with our parking contractor, NSL, who are investigating the matter.”
