Rangers striker Danilo was baptised yesterday in a freezing Scottish loch.
The Ibrox number 99 has been vocal about his faith and the profound impact it has had on his career - helping him through injury struggles in Glasgow last year.
On Monday, Danilo was baptised in an open-water ceremony supported by team-mate Jefte with a pastor flying to Scotland from Brazil for the emotional moment.
Danilo shared footage of the experience on his Instagram with a minister flying to Scotland from IPLTM Templo do Fogo to conduct the ceremony.
While the exact location of the baptism is unclear, it is obvious it took place in a Scottish loch in freezing temperatures.
Sharing images, Danilo commented: "What a wonderful day, glory to God for all of this.
"Thank you pastor, for being able to make this unique moment happen."

Danilo previously said of his Christian faith in an exclusive interview with the Rangers Review: “I have accepted Jesus in my life and since then everything just changed.
“What we say in the Bible is that we don’t live by seeing but we live by the faith in us. That was the main thing that I carried with me.
"Every day is a new opportunity to live and that is why you have to be thankful. Every day you have an opportunity to do what we didn’t do yesterday.
"With my family, they always try to make me positive and support me. They are always there for me since I was a kid. I am always grateful for everything that my mum and my dad have done for me so far.”
