Shocking footage has showed the moment a topless man was chased by an officer with a taser after 'assaulting' police on Wednesday (June 7).
The man, who quickly sped off in a vehicle, was then chased by police before they stopped him on Simonsway in nearby Wythenshawe.
Greater Manchester Police had initially been called to reports of a 'disturbance' at a property on Mainwood Road in Timperley, Trafford, at around 12pm.

Video footage shared with the Manchester Evening News appears to show a bare-chested man walking towards a police car and throwing something at the vehicle, as sirens and yelling can be heard.
The man is then seen getting inside a white van that quickly speeds off as an officer is chasing the vehicle with a taser.
Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that a 32-year-old was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault; attempted section 18 assault; and dangerous driving. He remained in custody for questioning on Thursday (June 8).
A spokesperson for the force said: "Shortly before 12pm on yesterday (Wednesday 7 June), Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a disturbance at Mainwood Road, Timperley. It's believed that a man attacked a police officer and a marked police car as well as a member of the public's car, before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
"Specialist trained police drivers engaged in a pursuit, and the vehicle was safely stopped on Simonsway, Wythenshawe. A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault, attempted section 18 assault, and dangerous driving. He remains in custody for questioning."
