The moment a security guard pulled a woman's pushchair as she tried to leave an Asda supermarket has been captured in video.
The pram appears to have what look like bottles of alcohol inside, with no sign of a youngster in sight.
The scuffle at the Asda supermarket in Walsall, in the West Midlands, was captured in a video shot by witness Claire Louise on Wednesday (April 6).
As the security guard tried to pull the pram - which appears to have been used to carry goods rather than a child - an alarm can be heard going off.
Seeing the struggle, a woman steps forward to help, reports BirminghamLive.
The pram then falls on the floor before the security staff member gestures to the woman to step away. A blue blanket can be seen in the pushchair during the commotion.
It is not clear where the bottles of alcohol came from.
Fellow Asda shoppers look on in amazement as the events unfold.
Almost 3,000 people have reacted to Claire Louise's original post of the video on Facebook and the footage has been shared a staggering 8,000 times in just two days.
West Midlands Police confirmed to BlackCountryLive that they were not called to the incident.
A spokesperson for Asda has been approached for comment.
Earlier this month, an anonymous mum online opened up about how she broke down in tears while doing her shopping in Aldi as the worry over spending has become "too much".
The mum took to Mumsnet to share her frustration as she explained she had seen some reduced goods in the bakery section and had considered buying something as a "treat for her kids" - but was unsure whether she had a spare 55p left in her food budget to cover the cost.
Last month, Asda announced it was to scrap its Smart Price range and replace it with a new budget range called Just Essentials.
The supermarket said Just Essentials would be the "largest budget-friendly essentials range in the market" and will help millions of families fight rising living costs.
The supermarket's cheapest range is currently Smart Price, with around 150 items.
But soon Asda will phase out Smart Price and bring in Just Essentials, with around 300 products.
