Molly Rainford gets Strictly tour boost as 'crushing' exit predicted

Molly Rainford has been confirmed for the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing live tour, just as bookies brand her a 'dead cert' to leave the show this weekend.

The CBBC star, known to millions of young fans as intergalactic pop sensation Nova Jones, has now been in the dance-off four time, despite getting high scores from the Strictly judges on a regular basis. But, as she's tipped to miss out on next week's grand final, Molly, the youngest of this year's contestants, has been given a big reason to smile as she's been confirmed for the tour, which packs out arenas up and down the country every year, as fans flock to see their favourites stars from the BBC programme.

Molly and current bookies favourite to win Strictly this year, Hamza Yassin, were announced for the Strictly live tour on Friday, joining Will Mellor, Tyler West and Ellie Simmonds, who were the first stars to be revealed last month. Commenting on her inclusion on the Strictly tour line-up, Molly said: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining the Strictly Live Tour, performing for the huge arena crowds across the UK is going to be an incredible experience. I’m really looking forward to continuing my amazing Strictly journey and getting out on the road to meet all the fans."

Molly's delight over being on the Strictly tour comes as bookies have all but written off her chances of winning the Glitterball trophy in a week's time. Going into Sunday's semi, she and pro partner Carlos Gu are the outsiders to win, on odds of 80-1 with William Hill and 66/1 with BetVictor. BetVictor reckon it will be a very close call between Molly and Fleur East as to who goes before the final, with Molly and Carlos on 10/11 and Fleur and her pro partner Vito Coppola on 11/10.

Taking a break from semi final rehearsals, Molly and Carlos appeared on Thursday's edition of The One Show when host Alex Jones shared her theoty on why the couple kept landing in the bottom two. She told Molly: "You know what I think it is? I think you're so brilliant that people don't vote because they think 'she'll sail through. And that's the problem; people forget that they need to vote for you."
