Molly-Mae trolls told 'get a life' as they slam pictures of the new mum taking baby Bambi on first trip away

Proud new mum Molly-Mae Hague captured a special mother and daughter trip to London with some precious photos of the visit, but fans jumped in to defend her after the snaps were slammed by trolls. "Bambi in London," Molly-Mae captioned the collection of sweet pictures, which including the doting mum holding up her baby girl to see out of a window in the back of a taxi.

Another emphasised just how small six-week-old Bambi is as the former Love Island star laid her next to her Chanel handbag on the hotel bed. Fellow Islander Mary Bedford commented about their first trip away together since Bambi was born on January 23: "Perfect." And lauranelson wrote: "Idk why the second to last pic has me giggling, lil bambi is purse sized."

But rose_m91 criticised: "Not the placement of the designer bag & the baby plonked next to it." jjanusy complained: "Let's display the baby who is adorable and NOT the Channel purse." And lynsarax said with crying-laughing faces and a vomiting emoji: "The baby positioned next to her bag."

rubymae92 clapped back: "Here come the trolls waiting to pounce on absolutely anything. Get a life you sad soul." And zoesmedberg defended: "Let’s NOT display the baby because literally none of you own the right to see Bambi, ever! Her baby, her rules and I pray she keeps her baby hidden from the horrible world of social media."

Others mostly took issue at seeing PrettyLittleThing director Molly-Mae, 23, pictured with Bambi not in a car seat. Orhanmarie blasted: "It’s the baby out of the car/seat pram for me! How dangerous!! In a moving taxi!" carla_victoria84 agreed: "So true! This is so unsafe." And werciaxx said: "Thought the same thing tbh."

But mrsb_amberleyhome responded: "@orhanmarie how do you know it was moving at the time??? Wish people will give her a break!" And becksmul fired back: "How do you know it’s moving? Could be parked!"

According to the government website, a child under three can travel in a back seat of a taxi or minicab without a child car seat and without a seat belt if the vehicle doesn't have one. In most cases, children under three must always be in a child car seat, with only a few exceptions. These are if the child is in a taxi or minicab, the child is in a minibus, coach or van, the child is on an unexpected journey, for example an emergency, there's no room for another car seat.

Nataliebrdhrst asked: "Who said she took the baby out of the car seat for a photo? Just because she was holding her when someone took a photo!

Bambi was also pictured in her seat (Molly-Mae Hague/Instagram)

"Why don’t you just go about living your life and stop judging people online! She is a new mother and is doing the best that she can ! Shouldn’t women be helping not dragging her down!!"

In another snap Bambi, looking adorable in a cuddly white outfit with ears, was pictured her in seat. marta_lzp1 pointed out: "First you can see that her car seat is literally her baby stroller as I have the same one and it’s great." And trace_5720 said: "You do not need a car seat in a taxi."

26867x wrote: "She's in a hackney and the baby was obviously in pram. Looks stationary while she took pic." And ghostgone22 pleaded: "Just leave her alone man ffs get a life I’m sure this was just for the bloody pictures."

judithann.maxwell wrote: "Oh for goodness all you people who think you know it all! Leave Molly alone and stop ‘trolling’ this new mum about everything she does.

"It may be things you wouldn’t do yourself for your reason but Molly can make decisions about her own child with getting nasty comments. If you can’t say anything nice …. shut up."

And donna_mariek said: "The seat is clearly next to her looks like she just took the baby out to show her outside. The baby can’t roll yet not till three months roughly at a push. Perfect mom brigade on here though leave her alone it’s honestly horrible watching people pounce for no reason." The Manchester Evening News has contacted representatives for Molly-Mae for comment.
