Molly-Mae shared glimpse of baby girl's name on personalised blanket weeks before reveal

Molly-Mae Hague previously revealed that she's had her baby girl's name picked out since she was a little girl herself.

And amid ongoing rumours that the former Love Island star had 'changed' her daughter's name after curious fans managed to guess it - despite it being an incredibly rare name - Molly-Mae's latest YouTube video proves that she has stuck to her guns when it comes to naming her little girl.

The new mum delighted fans on Monday when she announced the birth of her baby daughter with partner Tommy Fury - but she had played a waiting game for the tot's name until her announcement on Tuesday evening where she revealed she had called the tot Bambi.

Social media superstar Molly, 23, said love for her new baby 'grows with each passing moment' in a post on Instagram after a week of silence, but the new mum has decided not to reveal the name of her newborn, born on January 23.

While some Twitter users were convinced that Molly-Mae has changed her baby's name after some eagle-eyed fans have been guessing for weeks - with suggestions including Halo and Nephele - it seems that Molly-Mae and Tommy have stuck to the name they had decided on in the very early stages of their whirlwind romance.

In her most recent YouTube video, where the pregnant star documented herself packing her hospital bag ahead of the birth of her little girl, Molly-Mae revealed that her father had gifted her a precious baby blanket with her daughter's name embroidered on it.

In the video, Molly-Mae insisted that she wasn't going to unwrap the blanket, because she wanted to keep her little one's name as private as possible and for as long as possible - something which she has continued to do one week on from giving birth.

"I'm packing this blanket that my dad and his wife got us when I had my baby shower. I'm not going to open it up though, because it has been embroidered with her name on it," Molly told her YouTube subscribers.

All Molly-Mae had said about the name in the past is that she chose it 'years and years ago', and that she would be picking a 'really, really unusual and a different name'.

There had been a theory among fans that the baby would be called Nephele and only days ago it was noticed that an Instagram account has been set up with the potential name, leading some fans to suspect it's an account for the couple's daughter.

The theory about the name - which has been circulating for some time - relates to Molly-Mae having used cloud emojis in various posts on Instagram during the pregnancy.

The name Nephele references a woman in Greek mythology who was formed from a cloud. Some fans have suggested that Molly-Mae's use of the cloud emoji is a sign of this.

Some fans have also suggested that the end of the name may resemble 'Ellie' when pronounced, which is similar to the name of Molly-Mae's elephant teddy, Ellie-Belly.

However, Molly-Mae and Tommy have called their first-born Bambi Fury.

Proud parents Molly-Mae and Tommy welcomed their little bundle of joy on January 23, and the pair are feeling 'so blessed' after their little girl came into the world safely, bringing them more love and happiness than they have ever known.

In a gushing Instagram post, Molly-Mae lovingly confessed that her daughter is the best thing that has ever happened to her.

In the adorable image posted on her Stories, Molly-Mae could be seen cuddling her little girl as she gushed over how much love she has for her newborn daughter.

"One-week old day. I can't believe we get to keep you forever. Becoming your mum has been the best thing to ever happen to me - it doesn't seem possible but my love for you grows with each passing moment," the proud mum penned.

"There is no feeling like holding you in my arms little one. My heart literally explodes.

"Thank you for entering this world safely for us and for blessing us with the gift of being your parents. We promise to love and care for you unconditionally, forever."
