Molly-Mae Hague sparks Tommy Fury confusion as he shares first message since going home after Jake Paul victory

Molly-Mae Hague has sparked confusion as she shared a personal tribute to Tommy Fury after they were reunited following his boxing victory. The former Love Island star took to Instagram on Monday evening to share the moment her boyfriend emerged through the door of their Cheshire home after defeating Jake Paul on Sunday.

The Manchester boxer's long-standing feud with the YouTube star-turned-MMA fighter came to a conclusion at Diriyah Arena on Sunday evening (February 26) and Tommy took a standing count for a knockdown in the final round – with the British fighter claiming to have slipped – but had earlier done enough to earn a split decision on the judges' cards.

Tommy, who met and fell in love with Molly-Mae on the ITV2 dating show Love Island in 2019, appeared emotional after his victory as he dedicated his win to his girlfriend and their baby daughter, Bambi, who was born on January 23.

Twenty-four hours after being awarded the specially created 'Diriyah Champion' belt from the WBC, Tommy, 23, was seen arriving home in a video filmed by new mum Molly-Mae, with the victory belt still slung over his shoulder, to a sweet display set-up by his girlfriend.

Molly-Mae, also 23, had filled their hallway with white, gold, a grey balloons as a huge sign stood in the corner which read: "Welcome home Champ!" in large gold lettering alongside matching boxing gloves before it also read: "We are so proud of you." As Tommy, 23, walked through the door, Molly-Mae, also 23, emerged from behind the balloons and the pair shared a warm embrace.

"MY CHAMP," she typed alongside the sweet video which she set to the Coldplay track, A Sky Full of Stars. She then shared a second picture which showed Tommy back with his baby girl in his arms. "Complete," Molly-Mae said as the family-of-three were finally reunited after two weeks.

She then returned to Instagram on Tuesday evening (February 28) posting a powerful message to say "the good guy doesn't always finish last." The creative director for fashion brand PrettyLittleThing also spoke of their difficulties "behind closed doors" in the run-up to the fight.

"DADDYS HOME," she cheered, as she shared a collection of snaps including one of the doting new parents with Bambi and one of Tommy refuelling as he enjoyed a burger and chips while sporting a small bandage on his eye. She typed: "From day 1 of this fight being mentioned two and a half years ago, I backed this boy.

"It definitely wasn’t a straight or easy road, we had some seriously not so good days behind closed doors… but Sunday night made it all worth it. The good guy doesn’t always finish last, I am so proud of you."

As Molly-Mae's followers were quick to share their support, some were distracted after spotting a gold band on Tommy's finger. @aleksw1505 wrote: "That ring on tommys finger?? Is there something not addressed??" But it was quickly quashed as @laurengribb replied: "That's not a wedding finger."

Meanwhile, others are desperate to see Tommy pop the question. @rosielouisewright said: "We just need a ring now." @hoochie318 posted: "It’s time to make Molly a Fury now, ring time."

And Tommy also took to his own Instagram page to share his own message. Alongside a video posted to his Instagram Story, the new dad typed: "Still on cloud 9. Can't thank you all enough for the love. Means the world to me," alongside a heart emoji. He then said directly to the camera: "Hello guys, I've landed back with the family safely and soundly. I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the lovely messages. It means the world to me.

"Thank you to everyone who turned out for the fight, it wouldn't have been the same without you guys. We did it, we got the job done, now it's time to spend some much-needed family time. Can't wait to see what options we've got on the table next week but until then guys, take it easy."

While he's going to take a break to spend time with his girlfriend and their newborn daughter, it does appear that Tommy is already thinking ahead as posting a picture from his fight on Sunday showing him celebrating, the half-brother of Tyson Fury wrote: "What's next?"
