Molly-Mae Hague shares message to Tommy Fury after he dedicates win to her and their daughter

Molly-Mae Hague has shared her first public message to her boyfriend Tommy Fury as he was crowned victorious after his long-awaited and much-anticipated fight with Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia on Sunday night (February 26).

The Manchester boxer, 23, was due to face YouTube sensation-turned-MMA fighter Paul, 26, back in 2021 but Tommy pulled out after suffering a bacterial chest infection and a broken rib. Another scheduled fight in August was then pulled but ahead of Molly-Mae giving birth to their first child, it was announced that the pair would finally go head-to-head this month.

And their grudge match finally went ahead and Tommy defeated Jake by split decision after eight rounds. The long-standing feud finally came to a conclusion at Diriyah Arena on Sunday evening and Tommy took a standing count for a knockdown in the final round – with the British fighter claiming to have slipped – but had earlier done enough to earn a split decision on the judges' cards.

Jake was penalised a point for holding in the fifth round, with British fighter Fury also facing a deduction in the next. The judges scored what was at times a scrappy contest 75-74 Jake, 76-73 and 76-73 Tommy. The defeat ended Jake's perfect 6-0 record, which included bouts against the likes of ex-NBA player Nate Robinson as well as MMA athletes Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley.

Before facing Jake, Tommy wore his heart on his robe as he faced the biggest night of his career. As Tommy carried out his ring walk ahead of his fight, viewers clocked his super-sweet tribute to his newborn daughter Bambi, who was born on January 23. The former Love Island star wore a white and hooded gown bearing his baby girl's name written in gold lettering on the chest.

Tommy also had Bambi's name on the waistband of his shorts. The white hoodies worn by Tommy's team, including his father John, featured logos belonging to a variety of sponsors including Hague’s fake tan brand, Filter By Molly-Mae.

And following the fight, Tommy, who is the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, said: "For the past two and a half years, this is all that’s consumed my life. Broke rib, denied access, and everybody thought I was running scared. Tonight, I made my own legacy. I am Tommy Fury

He continued: "I want to dedicate this fight to my new baby girl Bambi at home and my Mrs, I love you. I can’t wait to see you. This fight was for you. It’s for you Bambi, I love you."

And after his victory was confirmed, Molly-Mae jumped onto Instagram to share her pride for her man, who she met and fell in love with on Love Island in 2019. "Never a doubt in my mind," she penned alongside an image of Tommy with the specially created 'Diriyah Champion' belt from the WBC.

She then posted an image of her and Tommy sharing a kiss as she breastfed their baby girl as he left home a few weeks ago to prepare for his fight. "The pressure that was on his boys shoulders... I will never, ever know how he dealt with it. Never been more proud of anyone in my life."

She then added: "GET HOME TO US OUR CHAMP," alongside a crying emoji. She also shared his dedication to her and their baby girl with her millions of followers and simply added a white heart emoji.
