Molly-Mae Hague sends rallying message to Tommy Fury ahead of life-changing Jake Paul fight

Manchester boxer Tommy Fury faces the biggest night of his career tonight as he faces American YouTuber Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia, and his partner Molly-Mae Hague sent a rallying message to her man as he prepares to enter the ring. The former Love Island star posted bolstering words to her man as she shared a screenshot of a video call to Tommy with their adorable baby daughter Bambi.

In the screenshot Tommy, 23, beamed as he chatted with his girls back home in the UK. A smiling Molly-Mae cradled their newborn daughter, who they welcomed on January 23.

Molly-Mae wrote with the screensot on her Instagram Stories: "Calls with dadda. Tonight is YOUR night. Get the job done and get home my boy We are so beyond proud of you. Your team forever." And she signed off by cheering: "LET'S GO!"

The fight is set to be the biggest pay day of his career so far, with the possibility of tripling his net worth. There is huge appeal across the world of boxing and in the internet boxing community as Paul steps into the professional boxing sphere against the undefeated Fury, who has a big profile of his own with his Love Island appearance in 2019 when he met and fell in love with Molly-Mae, creative director for fashion brand PrettyLittleThing.

There have been two attempts to stage the fight so far, with Tommy pulling out on both occasions. In the first instance back in December 2021, he withdrew due to a combination of injury and illness before Visa issues forced the cancellation of their second fight last summer.

Tonight the pair will compete, not only for their pride after a tense build-up, but for a WBC ranking. The sanctioning body has confirmed that the winner of the contest will receive a world ranking for the fight in the cruiserweight division.

Jake will make about $3.2 million for the fight. That is before a 65% PPV share he will earn which could mean $8.6 million in total for the fight. Tommy, who, with a 35% PPV share having been negotiated, could make $4.5 million.

Yesterday Tommy wrote in a message to to Jake on his Instagram: "Tomorrow ... I'm ending you." And Molly-Mae responded: "Light work."

Jake recently apologised for leaking the birth of Molly-Mae and Tommy's daughter as part of the build-up to to the fight. He inadvertently announced the new arrival himself in a social media post before the couple. He said in update announcing the fight that Fury had "no excuses now" before listing that the "baby is born" among other reasons no longer preventing them from fighting.

In a sit-down face-to-face he said: "I apologise actually for leaking your baby's announcement; I honestly didn't mean to say that before." Paul then revealed a white gift box tied with a ribbon and handed it over to new dad Tommy, saying: "I've actually got a gift for Bambi; this is like a really nice designer baby brand."

Tommy welcomed the gesture, replying: "Well, thank you very much; I'm sure she [Molly-Mae] will appreciate it." And Tommy's father John shook his hand and said: "Let me shake this man's hand, because you've gone up one million per cent in my estimation. May the best man win, appreciate it, may the best man win, mate. Good lad."
