Molly-Mae Hague sends heartfelt message to fellow new mums after candidly detailing 'hardest day of her life'

Molly-Mae Hague has sent a message of support to fellow new mums after detailing the struggles she has faced since giving birth to her daughter. The influencer, 23, and her boyfriend Tommy Fury, 23, welcomed their first child Bambi Fury into the world on January 23 and have been besotted with their newborn ever since.

After announcing her pregnancy on Instagram back in September 2022, Molly-Mae kept fans up-to-date with her journey to becoming a new mum and held nothing back as she filmed various candid YouTube vlogs. On February 8, just over two weeks after giving birth, the mum-of-one got back in front of the camera to open up about her labour.

During her video titled 'my birth story', which has now amassed more than 1.6 million views, Molly-Mae candidly revealed that an epidural helped her to have a 'pain-free' vaginal delivery and that Tommy watched the entire thing.

As boxer Tommy joined his girlfriend on camera, he admitted: "It was like a science lesson but in real life. It was the best thing I have seen in my life.

"It’s weird because before you have a child and everyone tells you you’re going to see this, you’re going to see that, you feel like spewing your guts up but when you see it, it’s the most beautiful thing."

The Pretty Little Thing creative director then detailed the struggles she has faced in the days following Bambi's birth.

Molly-Mae admitted: "What I experienced was that from the minute I gave birth on the Monday night until about day five, I actually didn't sleep a single hour.

"For the first week I just ran off adrenaline and I made myself really quite unwell. Day five was the hardest day of my entire life. I was scared for myself and my health.

"There were stints of three days where I didn't clean my teeth or even shower, or change my period pad. You just don't prioritise yourself any more, your own needs just don't matter. But I know I'm not going to be a good mother to Bambi if I don't also take care of myself."

Since filming the YouTube video, the influencer appears to be getting back to taking care of herself as she threw on a 'me' outfit and took Bambi out for a walk.

Molly-Mae filmed herself getting ready as she put on postpartum pants, some leggings, a jumper, scarf, coat, Ugg boots and a pair of sunglasses and headed out into the fresh air.

Later on her Instagram story, the 23-year-old sent a message of support to all her fellow new mums.

Sharing the encouragement with her 7.1 million followers, she wrote: "All my new mums out there... you've got this. I'm with you."
