Molly-Mae Hague says sex is 'excruciating' with boyfriend Tommy Fury due to endometriosis

Molly-Mae Hague said having sex is 'excruciating' with boyfriend Tommy Fury due to endometriosis.

The former Love Island star bravely shared her battle with the chronic condition last year, and she candidly posted snaps of the scars from the operations she’d undergone to alleviate symptoms of the inflammatory condition.

Endometriosis is when the tissue that lines the womb grows outside the womb, such as in the ovaries and fallopian tubes.

Molly-Mae said the operation has helped some aspects of her battle with endometriosis, and her periods have become more manageable since surgery, but sex is still a problem for the model and influencer.

In a video for her YouTube channel, the 22-year-old opened up on how the issue affects her sex life with boxer Tommy, and she was honest with her fans and followers.

“My two main symptoms have been the excruciating periods and the excruciating sex,” Molly explained.

“I will be honest, I do believe the painful sex symptom is what pushed me into getting my problem fixed, into working out what was wrong with my body because not only was I doing it for me and fixing it for me, which is obviously the main reason, I was also trying to do it for Tommy,” she said.

Molly said her painful periods and painful sex “have been two different journeys”, and she’s seeking specialist help.

“In regards to the painful sex, that unfortunately never changed, it is something that is an ongoing issues,” she said.

“I had a blood test and MRI scan because I am going to see a specialist in London in regards to that situation.”

Molly said of her boyfriend, who she met on the ITV2 dating show: “I couldn’t ask for a better boyfriend in regards to my endo journey. He has been so understanding and so caring.”

She also spoke about the “agonising pain” she’s had to endure due to the chronic condition, and said she almost called an ambulance due to the “level of pain” she was in.

“It got so bad, I would be rolling in bed and I would actually be fearful for my life, thinking for my body to be in this much agonising pain, what is it going through?” she said.

“I genuinely used to be in that much pain that I was fearful I wouldn’t wake up in the morning. It was so so horrendous,” she confessed.
