Molly-Mae Hague says 'pack your bags' as she plans to ditch UK after quitting PrettyLittleThing

Molly-Mae Hague has told her baby daughter to 'pack her bags' as she plans to ditch the UK after making a huge career decision. The influencer announced earlier this week she has stepped down from her PrettyLittleThing creative director role to focus on motherhood.

Molly-Mae, 24, was appointed as the fashion brand's creative director 22 months ago and was reportedly paid around £400,000 per month to work for the fast fashion retailer. However, the new mum confirmed in her latest blog that while she'll continue to work with the brand, she'll no longer fulfil her more prominent role.

Molly-Mae confirmed the news on her YouTube channel after her fans asked for updates on her position at the company, saying: "A lot of people have been asking me about PLT creative director, how's the role going, how's everything going with PLT, and everything is going incredibly with PLT… I will forever have the most insane relationship with PLT… they are literally my family.

"I am still working with them and doing collections and edits, but I have actually decided to step down as my creative director role." Molly-Mae, who welcomed her first child into the world back in January with her boyfriend Tommy Fury, continued: "Over the last few weeks, I have realised that I'm only going to get this time once with my first-born child and I'm only going to get Bambi being four months old once.

"I feel like I've had to rearrange my life a little bit and lose some commitments that I did have. Myself and PLT have decided collectively that as much as the creative director role was incredible and I have literally loved being the creative director of PLT more than anything, it was such an amazing chapter for me it has naturally come to an end.

"I am a mum now and I never really gave myself a maternity leave and I got straight back into work instantly. The last thing I would want to be is in a role that I can't fulfil right this moment." She then insisted: "There is no drama, there is absolutely no tea… nothing has gone on."

Since confirming the news, Molly-Mae has returned to social media and revealed she is taking her newborn baby daughter Bambi on a last-minute holiday this weekend - which will be the five-month-old's third trip abroad since she was born.

She shared the news alongside a selfie posted on Instagram on Thursday (June 22). It showed the former Love Island star posing for the camera in a green sunhat during a recent break as she wrote to her 7.5 million fans: "Just booked a holiday for in two days time!!… Get your case packed Bambi girl [sun emoji]."

And while the comments section wasn't without negative comments, others were keen to back Molly-Mae's decision to get herself and her family on a last-minute getaway. @only_oliviaeze joked: "Bambi's not even 1 yet and my girl has been on more holidays than myself."

@jayneburrows7 said: "Do as many holidays as you can life is too short." @caflaherty1 replied: "Good for you Molly after all life is for living." @megankernohan commented: "Have a great time! Hoping it’s blogged." @seasonkidsfashion added: "This time is so precious and goes so fast. Best idea to take the time to be together."
