Molly-Mae Hague's 'teething issues' as 'ceiling comes down' in new luxury house

Molly-Mae Hague has revealed the ceiling in her new luxury home with Tommy Fury is falling down as she shared the "teething issues" after moving in. The former Love Island star recently got the keys to the plush house she shares with her boxer beau Tommy Fury.

But the couple have encountered some "teething issues" as Molly-Mae, 22, revealed one of their showers is leaking and the ceiling in their living room is falling down. The pair have an Instagram account for their home called 'Molly-Maison' and the PrettyLittleThing creative director shared the problems they've been having while settling in.

The model and influencer firstly told fans that the shower in one of their bedrooms leaked 'really badly'. As she filmed herself in another spacious bathroom she explained: "So guys I'm about to take my first shower in the new house. I don't know why I've come on here to tell you guys that but I thought I'd bring you along."

She explained: "Tommy did actually use the shower in the bedroom that we're staying in at the moment because we've got all of our clothes in this one. However it leaked really, really badly." She continued: "I mean it's fine to have teething issues but when you have your first shower and it leaks everywhere, not very ideal."

Later Molly-Mae posted a photo of herself in a white robe with her hair wrapped in a towel to tells fans she'd had a "10/10 shower." But the following day she was met with new problems in the house.

She filmed a sopping wet carpet and zoomed in on a black light fitting which was dripping water. She joked in a message alongside the video: "You know what I said about teething issues... just a minor one today, ceilings coming down x".

Molly-Mae later explained how she discovered the leak in a video. "Honestly I just heard a load of dripping noises, walked into our formal living room area, ceiling's coming down," she said.

She continued: "The roof is saturated, the ceiling of the living room is saturated, the carpet is saturated so that's nice. To be fair I think we're only having issues because we're ripping rooms out, pipes are being knocked, water systems are being messed around with so I'll keep you updated."

On Saturday night Molly-Mae cheered on her hunky boxer boyfriend as he beat Daniel Bocianski on the undercard for his heavyweight champion brother Tyson Fury at Wembley Stadium. Tommy was victorious after nearly eight months out of the ring and his proud partner revealed that they had been apart for two months while he was training.

The couple met and fell in love on the ITV2 reality show Love Island in 2019. Molly-Mae said the couple are now looking forward to heading to America for a holiday where they will be celebrating his 23rd birthday.

"He's written me a list of all the places he wants to eat at," she told BT Sport after the fight. "He's very excited to eat. Burgers are his favourite thing to eat. Burgers everywhere."
