Molly-Mae Hague's filler transformation resurfaces and fans 'don't remember it being that bad'

Pictures of Molly-Mae Hague’s filler transformation have resurfaced – and fans can’t believe it's the same person.

The Love Island star famously ditched cosmetic treatments and has been rocking a more natural look over the past two years.

She admitted to having her first lip fillers at the tender age of 18.

And by the time she shot to fame on the ITV2 dating show in 2019, Molly-Mae had added cheek and jaw fillers and “god knows what” to her face.

Later admitting it looked “horrendous”, she decided to have them removed and has since been credited with pioneering a more natural celebrity look.

A comparison video of a ‘before and after’ fillers Molly-Mae appeared on TikTok this week and quickly went viral.

The post by @hollywilliams1 clocked up nearly 1 million views in just a few days and over 50,000 people left comments.

One TikTok user said: “Her filler was sooo much I didn’t even realise.”

“I don’t remember it being that bad,” another fan wrote.

“I can’t believe she actually did that to herself,” a third commented.

A fourth chimed in: “I don’t remember her looking like that omg”, while a fifth added: “Thank god she took it out of her face.”

The overwhelming feeling was that Molly-Mae looks a lot better now without the fillers – but some suspected she may have had a bit put back in.

“She looks great now, I do believe she had it all dissolved but I definitely think she’s had some more subtle filler put in to make it look natural,” one person wrote.

Another said: “She looks so amazing now she’s gotten rid of it. Weird how it was so slow nobody noticed until you look back on it.”

Others praised her for being a good role model, with one saying: “She looks so beautiful and I love the fact she showed us the process. Great example for young girls!”

“Doesn’t help when the people doing these fillers comment on how women need more, tell them they need a jawline etc,” another TikTok user added.

In an extract from her book, Becoming Molly-Mae, the now 23-year-old said of her fillers: “It looked horrendous.

“Someone took a screenshot from that video and it went viral. 'What's Molly done to her face?' was the response. I was mortified.

"The reality was that my once-sharp jawline had jowls hanging underneath, my lips felt lumpy, uneven and unnatural.”

She continued: "I didn't feel prettier. I didn't feel better. Filler had made me feel worse."

The star went on to turn her back on cosmetic 'tweakments' last year – dissolving all her filler and having her composite bonded pearly whites removed.

"I feel like I'm still definitely going through the process of trying to make everything as natural as I possibly can,” she said, adding: “I made that many mistakes when I was younger I'm genuinely still trying to correct them now."
