Molly-Mae Hague is regretting her decision to move into her new house while construction work is going on as it’s so loud she can’t sleep.

The former Love Island star and boxer boyfriend Tommy Fury recently splashed out £4m on their dream home in Cheshire.

The 22-year-old has been keeping fans updated on their renovation plans via social media and in her latest post admitted she had ignored builders’ advice to stay in a hotel.

She said: “You could not sleep through that even if you wanted to. Last night was my first night in the new house, which was so exciting.

“I’m not going to lie it didn’t exactly go to plan in terms of it wasn’t the relaxed vibes I was looking for. It wasn’t as straightforward and chilled as I’d hoped it to be.

“Basically what I’m trying to say is I’ve definitely, definitely underestimated how living in a house with immense building work going on would be.”

In a video posted to YouTube, Hague explained rooms in the house are currently being demolished and she had not taken into account how loud it would be.

“I think I just brushed past the fact that building work starts before 7am. The noise is unbelievable... I’ve never heard banging that loud,” she continued.

“Of course they’re demolishing bathrooms so it’s going to be really, really loud but I just hadn’t really thought about it.

“I thought: ‘Oh yeah it’ll be loud and there’ll be banging and drilling and stuff but it’ll be fine, we’ll crack on with our normal day, we’ll just sleep through it.

“Well let me tell you could not sleep through that even if you wanted to.”

She admitted one of the reasons she wanted to move in early was because of their pet cats.

Hague and Fury share adorable kittens Eggy and Bread.

They are Scottish Folds, a breed known for their small ears that sometimes fold over.

She admitted the poor little furballs had been left “terrified” by the noisy workmen, saying: “It’s moreso a problem for the cats is what I’m a bit concerned about.

“We moved them over last night and this morning when the building work started they did not know what to do with themselves.

“They were terrified, they were trembling. The cats are very nervous anyway. It takes them a long time to get used to people, get used to new area,” she continued.

“I hadn’t really thought about that, I’d just skimmed over it.”
