Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she decided to have her fillers dissolved – after no longer recognising her own face in photos.
The Love Island star said she took a selfie during a club appearance and was shocked at how she looked.
In an exclusive interview with Cosmopolitan UK, Molly said: “I was doing a club appearance and I took a selfie.
“I remember looking at it and thinking, ‘I don’t know what I’ve done to my face.’
“I went from looking like a teenager to someone on [extreme plastic surgery show] Botched.
“I’ve never thought of myself as insecure, but I must have been to do that.”

The 22-year-old reality star called for 'tweakment' procedures to stop being normalised after revealing she first had her lips done at 17.
She told the mag: “We need to stop normalising filler, with things like ' Kylie Jenner [surgery] packages'.
“I was 17 when I first got my lips done and it scares me to think that if I have a daughter in 10 years’ time, what it might be like for her.
“I sometimes forget how young my followers are too. I’m often surprised by the fact some of the girls in my DMs even have a phone.”
Before coming second on Love Island with boyfriend Tommy Fury in 2019, Molly-Mae, from Hitchin, Hertfordshire, was making a living as a social media influencer and had amassed 8,000 followers before the age of 16.
Now she has a following of 5.5 million on Instagram alone and is said to be worth an estimated £2.5 million.
Lucrative deals with fashion label PrettyLittleThing and the launch of her own tanning brand, Filter by Mollie-Mae have helped.
She says: “I never wanted an ordinary life, and the one I’m living now is every girl’s dream.
“I’ll never forget how many people wanted to work with me [after Love Island].
“They bought me flowers and one even offered me a car, even though I couldn’t drive then. There were huge [financial] figures being thrown around.”

While business is going well, so is Molly-Mae’s love life. She’s been dating boxer Tommy since the show and the loved up pair are still going strong.
She says: “I do believe we’re soulmates. My parents love him.
“We’re cringey and mushy, and I like it like that. We know we’re going to be together forever.
“People speculate that we break up all the time – if Tommy doesn’t like one of my pictures on Instagram, I get DMs asking about it. But we’re so content, like two peas in a pod.”

Despite fame, Molly says she’s more of a homebody at heart.
“My dream evening is watching Harry Potter with Tommy. I’m not fazed by socialising and clubbing or going on girls’ holidays, and I don’t really drink alcohol.
"We go for walks and eat at TGI Fridays. We don’t try to be boujee,” she says.
But does she worry it will all come to an end?
“I don’t, because I’ve worked really hard to protect myself from that. I’m able to look after my family now, and I bought my sister a car last Christmas.”
