Molly-Mae Hague fans 'run to Hobbycraft' for £1.50 item used to create her 'stunning' wall art

Molly-Mae Hague is known for her love of decorating and interior design and even has an Instagram account for her very aesthetically pleasing home. With this in mind, it comes as no surprise that her fans want to try to recreate some of her decor for themselves.

Last year, Manchester artist Davo Howarth created some wall art for the influencer that fits in with her minimalistic aesthetic.

The wall art is a white canvas that reads: “I would find you in any lifetime,” written in block capitals, also in white.

Fans of the former Love Island star went crazy for it and now a couple on TikTok have recreated the viral wall art.

The video posted by insideourrelationship has over 50,000 views and the couple, Hiren and Maggie, showed their DIY hack to making a similar version to “Molly-Mae’s stunning bespoke wall art.”

Hiren says they got all their supplies from The Works while they got their wooden block letters from Hobbycraft. They cost £1.50 per 8cm letter..

They decided to spell out: "Push hard, make it happen."

“First things first we got all the letters onto the canvas and lined them up in the position we wanted them in,” Maggie said as they used measuring tape and masking tape to ensure the letters were evenly spaced out.

Using super glue, they stuck the wooden letters to the canvas starting off with the first letter of each line, to again make sure it was straight.

Once the letters were secured and masking tape removed, they used acrylic white paint to the artwork and said that adding baking powder to the paint gave the piece a more textured look.

The pair used a kitchen sponge to paint the letters and a spatula to add a textured design to the canvas.

“Do not miss this step if you try it at home because it really does take the artwork to the next level,” Maggie said.

Once the piece dried overnight they said they were delighted with its outcome.

“From start to finish I’d say it took 2 hours worth of work, then we just left it to dry overnight. An enjoyable activity to do with a loved one,” he wrote in the comments.

People were well impressed with the DIYers' art attempt with Donna Gill replying to the TikTok saying it “looks lovely.”

Callie and Ash Maya bothe commented: “Love it!!” while another viewer called Martha said: “I love it so much I wish I had it in my house!”

Viewer GeeGee even said: “I prefer your one to Molly-Mae’s”

NotsobigD: “This looks amazing! *runs to hobby craft*” while even Hobbycraft had their say and commented: “Loveee.”
