Molly-Mae Hague has discussed the heartbreaking reason why she 'hates Christmas'.
The former Love Island star has previously spoken of her dislike of the festive season which left fans with many questions.
Molly-Mae, 21, gave fans a glimpse of the stunning Christmas tree she had set up in her home when she claimed she wasn't 'obsessed' with the holiday.
Looking at mini Christmas trees full of sweets, she wrote: 'I'm not obsessed with Christmas I'm not going to lie but I can appreciate cute decorations.'
But when she took part in an Instagram Q&A with her 4.9m followers on Tuesday night, she was asked about why why she doesn't enjoy celebrating.
This lead to the social media influencer opening up about her family life.
She replied to a fans question: "I'm honestly not sure why, but sadly, I do think it kind of stems from my parents being divorced.
"It's a little different when your family isn't all together.
"I know this is the case for so many people but Christmas always brings up such mixed memories for me."
Molly-Mae, who grew up in Hertfordshire, now lives with boxer boyfriend Tommy Fury in Cheshire after moving out of her plush city centre apartment.
